CROCODILE ISLAND

CROCODILE ISLAND

Crocodile Island is located in the channel separating Boracay and the mainland, Panay. The dive site gets its name from the shape of the island, which looks like a crocodile, lying on top of the water. Crocodile Island is a wall dive that can only be accessed during a rising tide to avoid being swept into the channel. The dive site starts with a vibrant and colorful reef at 3 meters, continuing down the wall dropping to 22 meters. The reef is filled with vibrant soft corals, full of color and small marine life, making it a great dive for all levels of divers, especially those wanting to practice macro photography. Crocodile Island is 20 minutes away by boat from Boat Station 1, and only 10 minutes away from Bulabog beach (jump-off point during Habagat season – June to October)
