Yapak is one of the highlighted dive sites in Boracay. Only open to seasoned divers with at least an Advanced Open Water certification, Yapak is a deep wall drift dive. The dive starts with a negative entry against heavy currents, swimming straight down to hit the top of the wall at 30 to 35 meters depth. The wall is a sheer drop to 70 meters, with soft coral covering the top and the side of the wall. Divers drift along the side of Yapak’s wall looking out for pelagics. Sightings include sharks, tuna, and , if you are lucky, marble rays. The Yapak dive site is about 20 minutes by boat, leaving from Boat Station 1, heading to the northern tip of Boracay.
To dive Yapak, you will need to to a check-out dive with one of our Divemasters to show you have sufficient diving skills and experience needed for the dive site.
