Diving in Boracay
Boracay Island is located in the Visayas Region (central part) of the Philippines, and is famous for its four kilometer long powdery white sand beach. From relaxing sunsets to all-night parties, and from shallow beginner dives through to dive sites only for seasoned divers, Boracay has something on offer for everyone.
Year-round the water temperature is between 27 to 30 degrees Celsius. Most of our guests choose to dive in board-shorts and a rash-guard (or a bikini), but full body wet suits are also available at Lapu-Lapu for added protection and comfort.
Most dive sites are within a 10 to 20 minute boat ride from Lapu-Lapu Diving Center. Peak diving time is from October through to May when most dive sites are accessible. During typhoon season from June through to September, diving moves to Bulabog, which offers new experiences, including a cave dive to the Bat Cave.
